ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Sam, and I'm currently a full-time Flight Paramedic. I've worked in EMS for almost two decades, in multiple fields, which I believe gives me a unique perspective. Throughout my career, I've obtained my NREMT Paramedic, Bachelor of Science in EMS, FP-C, and many other certificates and degrees. I've had the pleasure of working on an ambulance, with NMSP SWAT, as a Firefighter, as an ER/Trauma Paramedic, and currently as a Flight Paramedic. I strongly believe that sharing our stories can be a healing experience that can educate, enlighten, and humble us. If you're interested in hearing tales from highly qualified EMS professionals, we think you'll find that our podcast, Nine One One Nonsense, is for you.

HERO 2 HERO
Our mission is to provide opportunities of trust and confidentiality in the hopes of breaking down walls and barriers that prevent 1st Responders from reaching out for help when they are struggling.
We also want to support the families, spouses and children during good and difficult times. Reaching out to another spouse who has been part of the service for a while can be beneficial to someone new to the service departments.”

NEXT RUNG
Our mission is to help combat mental health issues among Firefighters and First Responders. We want to be a beacon of hope during these difficult times that many of us face. Mental health issues and an alarming amount of suicides have become a major problem among our profession.
Overwhelmingly, our desire is to provide resources for our brothers and sisters so they can take ACTION. Awareness is great, but just like words with out action are dead, so is awareness without proper resources. So if you or a firefighter/first responder you know is in need, simply text “SUPPORT” to 1-833-698-7864 and we promise to walk with you through whatever it is you’re facing.
